Wanna Know One of the Most Common Questions We Get Asked?
Q: What is the most important thing a social media manager should be doing?
A: Short answer: It truly varies from the needs of client to client.
Long answer: The most important thing a social media manager should be doing is constantly communicating the vision of the brands they are representing. First off, it’s important to understand the difference between a social media manager, an engager and a marketer.
Manager: Expanding brand awareness Creating and scheduling content. Writing the captions, producing graphics and videos. Reply to private messages and creating Analytics Reports* is also included. Doesn’t focus on sales.
*Basically the numbers of metrics that show the growth of the clients social media account.
Engager: Replies to DMs, comments, followers and queries. Building a rapport with followers.
Marketer: Publish contents that aim to convert to a SALE or REVENUE by creating and managing paid ads. Reach out to influencers. They also create a marketing strategy: promos, contests, giveaways and events.
For most small businesses, they only hire one person to do all of these tasks. Thankfully for you, STP LLC specializes in many of these areas and we’re yet evolving. We will gladly be your brand’s Engager, Manager and/or Marketer!
